HPD, Representative Mark Takai and community volunteers continued their efforts to reduce speeding on Kaahele Street in Aiea through the C-TAP Community Traffic Awareness Program. The group lined Kaahele Street on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 with signs reminding motorists to slow down. Kaahele Street is a main thoroughfare that is heavily used by both Aiea and Pearl City residents each day. Safety issues are a growing concern in the area. Tuesday's sign waiving was the third outing for the C-TAP campaign.
