Governor David Ige and Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui were sworn into office by Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald on Monday, December 1, 2014 at high noon in the Hawaii State Capitol courtyard.

Governor Ige was born and raised in Pearl City and is a proud graduate of Pearl City High School’s class of 1975.
