Students K-6 recognized at UGC Heroes & Peace Garden Awards Ceremony in Pearl City (4/12/2014)

Students K-6 were recognized at the Urban Garden Center in Pearl City for their award winning essay's that represented the following two topics:  "What Peace Means to Me" and "What Heroes Mean to Me".

The students were presented award certificates by the Honolulu Rose Society and the University of Hawaii's College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources during the Heroes & Peace Garden Blessing and Awards Ceremony held on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Each student also received a plaque that featured their name and award winning essay that was permanently posted in each rose garden bed.
