Community volunteers from the Pearl City Community Association, Pearl City Foundation and Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club joined Pearl City Highlands Elementary school staff to paint sidewalk lines and parking lot curbs to help assist partially blind students to navigate around campus.
The Adopt-A-School Day event is presented each year by the Hawaii Jaycees throughout the state.
