Devin Hayashi earned the win for Pearl City. Noah Okimoto put Pearl City ahead of Kailua 3-2 with a 2 RBI double in the the bottom of the second inning. Okimoto also belted a 2-run home run over the center field fence in the bottom of the third inning that put Pearl City up 8-2.
Pearl City (2-1) will play today at 4:00pm as they battle their way through the losers bracket in the double-elimination tournament.
