The Pearl City Chargers junior varsity erased a 19 point first half deficit and then held off a late fourth quarter rally to defeat the visiting Nanakuli Golden Hawks 29-25 on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.

The Chargers (5-0 in OIA D2 league play) will take on the OIA D2 co-leader and undefeated Roosevelt Rough Riders (5-0 in OIA D2 league play) on Friday, October 5 with an OIA D2 JV Championship possibly on the line.

Huge weekend for both the Chargers varsity and junior varsity football programs.
