The Pearl City Lady Chargers dropped a doubleheader to the Campbell Lady Sabers on March 26, 2011 at Patsy Mink Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio. The defending Hawaii state champions got two outstanding pitching performances in the doubleheader from junior pitcher, Summer Palipti who beat the Chargers 6-1, 7-1. Palipti also hit two home runs in the doubleheader which included a Grand Slam in the 6th inning of game two. The Lady Sabers improve to 5-1 and a tie for first place with Waianae in the OIA Red West. Pearl City evens their record at 3-3. Sella Rodriguez recorded the loss on the mound in both games for the Lady Chargers.
