Pearl City blasted past Waialua 17-0 to advance in the Hawaii Little League District 7 Majors Tournament on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Central Oahu Regional Park in Waipio. The game was called after 3 1/2 innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.
Pearl City continues to battle its way through the loser's bracket after Friday's opening round 7-6 loss to Ewa Beach in 7 innings.
Pearl City will play Waipahu on Sunday, June 30 at CORP with first pitch is scheduled for 12:00pm.
Waialua was eliminated from the double elimination format tournament with the loss to Pearl City.
Pearl City's Matthew Valencia and Chaesten Chon combined for win.
Kyler-Dane Dicion and Azure Agricula worked the hill for Waialua.
Shawn Iwane, Caleb Young, and Chaesten Chon homered for Pearl City.
