Construction update: Assembly of rail cars on track

HART'S rail cars are taking shape in factories in Italy, and a review by HART staff concludes the workmanship is high quality and on schedule.

HART staff members went in December to inspect the work being performed on HART's first rail car. They left with a good first impression after observing first-hand the welding of the car's roof and floor, the design and testing of electrical systems, as well as structural and climactic testing.

The work meets industry standards and HART's expectation of high quality and reliability, and the vehicle is on schedule to arrive in Honolulu next year at this time.
