With Aloha Backpacks supports school supply needs for 53 Maililand children

Mahalo Makua Leilani and Kekoa!

2020 seems to have put some uncertainty in our lives.  For Kekoa, he was a bit worried that he wouldn't be able to do his annual Stuffed With Aloha Backpack and school supplies collection and distribution for the children of Maililand.  I told him that no matter what happens, he just have to do it and not give up because the children were looking forward to receiving them.  Kekoa was blessed with many bags of recycles.  He was able to get 53 backpacks and stuff them with school supplies.

Due to Covid19, this is the first time in 14 years since he has been doing this project, Kekoa was not able to distribute the backpacks personally to the children.  It was kind of sad but safety first.

A big MAHALO to Tommy and Grandma J for all the recycles.

Praying for safety and protection to all the children, their family, teachers and staff as they begin a new school year.

Mahalo,

Makua Leilani
