Aloha Hula, hard work, dedication, and ALOHA

People believe that bad things happen in 3's. . .Well today we proved that wrong. . .

Aloha Hula had an early morning start. . Rylee Brooke of Remember My Name You'll be Seeing It, invited us to be interviewed by her and  Trini Kaopuiki, co-host of KHON 2 Living 808 daily lifestyle show.  Aloha Hula dancer, Arahame and co-hula teacher, Kamalani spoke on behalf of Aloha Hula.  The girls got to showcase 2 hula songs.  First they danced their winning number at Spotlight, Hawaiian War Chant, that was taught by Christina, that won them a Partial Scholarship Award to attend a 4 day Broadway tour.  They also danced a little of Ka Uluwehi O Ke Kai too.

Next, Kekoa and his brother went to Maililand Transitional Shelter to do his annual  Aloha 808 Stuffed With Aloha Back pack distribution for 35 elementary, intermediate, and high school children.  I was very sad because this was the first time in 12 years of Kekoa his project that I was not able to be there with him.  I'm very proud of him for doing an awesome job.  .And I'm glad his brother was there to capture the moment.

And last but not least, Kamalani went with Arahmae and her family to New York to be the first duo to represent Hawaii in a 4 day Broadway Tour.

This shows that hard work, dedication, and ALOHA. . can get far. .with the support of people who believe in what others strive to do.
