Rotary Club of Pearlridge beautifies Puuloa Springs and Pearl Harbor Bike Path

I would like to share a group of photos from Saturday morning’s monthly Rotary Club of Pearlridge Puuloa Springs native Hawaiian garden and Pearl Harbor Bike Path workday. Thank you to RCOP President and Past District Governor Dick Mosko, RCOP Board members Ed Kido and Clarence DeLude, and Anuhea DeLude community volunteer, RCOP supporter, and teacher at Our Savior Lutheran School. We missed our leader Lasar McCabe, as well as Rick Lau and Gordon Arakaki, but accomplished our objective to work in teams to pick up rubbish beginning at Puulao Springs, and along the bike path and the Pearl Harbor shoreline eastbound to the bridge near Cutter Ford / Peace Bell, and westbound towards the HECO Power Plant.

We all appreciated the time spent together as friends and Rotarians while serving the community. We also had the opportunity to talk to Puuloa Springs neighbors and bike path users who thanked us for cleaning up the area and creating and growing the native Hawaiian Garden for them to enjoy.

Have a great week!

Barry
