Pearl City Elementary School (PCES) Principal Dr. Susan Hirokane, along with the school faculty and staff, "Welcomed Back" the PCES student body in an assembly held on Monday, August 25, 2014 in the school cafeteria.
The students were presently surprised to hear that their 2013-2014 Standardized Test Scores for grades 4-6 ranked them as the #1 elementary school in the Pearl City / Waipahu District Complex. The school scored a combined total of 343 points out of a possible 400 points.
