Pearl City’s Tyanna “Peanut Butter” Kaaialii tossed a no-hitter to defeat Waianae 10-0 (5) in Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division I varsity softball on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Pearl City High School. The game was called in the fifth inning due to the 10-run mercy rule.
The Lady Charger ace hurler struck out 9 batters over 5 innings and improved to a perfect 5-0 in league play. The Lady Chargers improved to 5-0 and remain in first place in the OIA Western Division I standings. Waianae fell to 0—5.
