Kalaheo defeated Pearl City 45-35 in the first round of the OIA D2 Varsity Girls Basketball Championship Tournament played at Pearl City High School on Saturday, January 31, 2016.

Pearl City’s Ciera Sylva led all scorers with 18 points and (5) 3-pointers

Ashley-Tianna Amorin added 11 points for the Lady Chargers.

E3 Kalaheo will take on E1 Kaimuki and W1 Waipahu will meet E2 McKinley in the tournament championship doubleheader semifinals on Wednesday, February 3 at Moanalua High School.
