REVISED – 9/27/2026
(Mahalo to Amy Robinson, proud mom of QB Jayden Delos Santos for contributing Jayden’s record-breaking stats in the revised article)
Pearl City starting QB Jayden Delos Santos led the Chargers in an outstanding, record breaking performance and display of offensive firepower scoring one rushing touchdown and passing for six touchdowns in the 52-27 blowout of the visiting Kaiser Cougars Friday night at Pearl City High School’s Edwin Bino Neves Stadium.
Delos Santos set two school records in the win over Kaiser:
- Most Passing TD’s in a single game – 6 (previous record was 5)
- Most Passing yards in a single game – 426 (previous record was 342)
Delos Santos Top Receivers in the ball game:
Maiaku Lii – 9 receptions, 124 yards
Chansyn Robello-Oishi – 7 receptions, 110 yards, 2 TD’s
Bronson Jayce Abendanio – 3 receptions, 80 yards
Kaze Teixeira – 3 receptions, 68 yards, 1 TD
Rylan Bala – 5 receptions, 58 yards, 1 TD
Treyver Leavy – 4 receptions, 43 yards, 1 TD
Alohi Gaspar – 2 receptions, 20 yards, 1 TD
The Chargers outgained the Cougars in net offense 616 – 240. (Seems like it should be a school record)
The Chargers celebrated Homecoming and Senior Night while improving to 3-1 league, 5-1 overall in 2026 Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II Football standings. Kaiser moved to 2-2 league, 3-2 overall.
