On Friday, July 10th the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile parked its bun in the Pearl City Shopping Center parking lot near Foodland. Shoppers got a chance to see the iconic hot dog on wheels “up close” as it makes its way across Oahu.
Oscar Mayer, the man that started it all, died a couple weeks ago but the Wiener Mobile lives on in his honor. Pearl City residents also got a chance to sing the “Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Mayer Wiener” song. They even had Oscar Mayer Hot Dog whistles. Man that brings back memories.
