Pearl City Family Fun Day a Big Hit!

The Pearl City Community Association & Pearl City Foundation sponsored the recently held Pearl City Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Momilani Community Center.

Pearl City residents and their families experienced a day of fun, music, food, games & activities, pony rides, petting zoo, craft booths and entertainment all day. The newest attractions to the annual event were the Dunking and Pie-throwing booths.

Mayor Mufi Hannemann also dropped in to enjoy the day. Pearl City Fun Day entertainment was highlighted by the Royal Hawaiian Band who played to the delight
of all.

One of my favorites was the Grace Bible Church, “Free cotton candy booth”. When was the last time you had free cotton candy?

A special Mahalo goes out to all who worked hard to make the day a success and for bringing our Pearl City Community together. I can’t wait until next year!
