Pearl City Chargers Varsity Riflery Teams prepare for Saturday’s OIA Western Division showdown with Kapolei. Head Coach Les Aranaydo prepares the PCHS Boys and Girls Varsity Riflery teams for a tough OIA Western Division schedule.
The 2009 PCHS Riflery Teams are going through a re-building year as both the Girls and Boys rosters are dominated with freshman shooters. The Chargers have had much success through the years capturing OIA titles in six of the last seven years.
Check out our photo gallery as Coach Aranaydo leads the teams through practice on Wednesday (9/2) after the scheduled match with Nanakuli High School was cancelled. The teams practiced firing on six targets: 2 prone, 2 kneeling, 2 standing.
Saturday’s (9/5) match up with Kapolei High School starts at 8:00am. Teams shoot at their respective schools. Scores are recorded and winners are announced.
