Varsity Football: Pearl City 20 Radford 21

Pearl City Chargers Varsity Football team lost a close contest against the Radford Rams on Friday, September 4, 2009 at Bino Neves Stadium on the PCHS campus.

The Chargers took the lead, 20-14 on a touchdown pass from QB Isaac Shim to Hayden Concepcion early in the 4th Quarter. The Rams came back and went ahead on a 22 yard touchdown run with around 6 minutes remaining in the 4th Quarter for the lead and the games final score.

It was a tough and well played OIA White Division match up. Congratulations to both teams.

The Chargers record stands at (1-2, 1-1 White Division). The Rams are (2-2, 2-1 White Division).

The Chargers travel to Moanalua High School to take on the Menehune on Friday, September 11. Kick off is scheduled to follow the Junior Varsity game around at 7:00pm.
