The Oahu Urban Garden Center in Pearl City is giving away free trees!


Come down to the Oahu Urban Garden Center this Saturday, November 7 from 7:00am and celebrate Arbor Day and receive a free tree while supplies last.


SECOND SATURDAY AT THE GARDEN, stroll and learn about tropical gardening from certified Hawai’i master gardeners and Urban Garden Center volunteers, November 14, 2009 from 9AM-12PM featuring Trees!

Leeward Community College “Fun Fair” this Saturday, November 7 from 9AM-3PM at the LCC Campus. Food, games, entertainment and an Aloha Aina Earth Day recycling drive will held at the Fun Fair from 8AM-2PM. Recycling drive proceeds will go to benefit LCC. For more information call: 455-0252.

10 students were chosen out of 49 finalists as 2009 Leeward Young Artist Award winners on Thursday night at Kapolei Hale. Seven of the ten selected were from Pearl City schools.
