A Message from Rotary Club of Pearlridge President, Roy Matsuo:
My Rotary Club, The Rotary Club of Pearlridge, has adopted five (5) Elementary Schools in our service area to provide their 3rd graders with our specially created dictionaries and we expect to continue this project for “our” schools on an annual basis.

These dictionaries are given outright to the students for their personal use as well as sharing them with their families, etc. Our dictionaries are unique in that they provide a wealth of “other” information in addition to the usual spelling, definitions, etc. – Roman Numerals, Declaration of Independence, Constitution Including Amendments, Biographies of U.S. Presidents, the Fifty United States, Maps of the World, Sign Language, Braille, etc.

The four other schools who received dictionaries are: Webling Elementary School, Momilani Elementary School, Lehua Elementary School and Pacific Palisades Elementary School.

Please contact me if the 3rd graders in your elementary schools are not participating in our Dictionary Project. You are most welcomed to visit with us on Friday’s at noon at the Pearl Country Club in their Grill Room.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
