In the first game, Pearl City hitters pounded out 17 hits, scoring 15 runs. Kaleinani Adams hit well for the Chargers going 2-4 with a HR and 2 RBI's. Courtney Ahlo and Alana Cuarisma  both went 3-5 with Cuarisma adding a HR.

Game1 winning pitcher, Sella Rodriguez was masterful on the mound holding Waipahu to 3 runs."Sella threw a lot of strikes and I think that's her strength. She makes them swing," said Chargers Head Coach, Keoke Behic. "Today our defense made a lot of plays for her, that was the key."
