Pearl City Community Church would like to invite the public to their White Elephant & Country Store this Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. There will be a huge selection of items from: Ono baked goods; Jams & Preserves; Fresh produce; Craft items; Plants; Electronics; Household & Kitchen items; Men & Women's Accessories; Toys & Games; Books, CDs, DVDs, Small appliances and Jewelry too!

"All proceeds from the sale are ear-marked for outreach programs for the homeless, the underprivileged, the abused, and those facing life's challenges," said Millie Chun, spokesperson for the White Elephant Event from the Women's Ministry.
The 3 recipients of the White Elephant Proceeds are:
(1) The River of Life Mission. PCCC supports the Mission's Woman's Facility. Currently there's several women in the Facility who have been released from prison and are facing difficult challenges. Help is always needed to get these women back into society equipped with job skills.
(2) The United Church of Christ Transition House for Battered Women and their Children. The Transition House is a Safe Home for abused women.
(3) Haiti Relief Fund. Of Course, there never seems to be sufficient funds or supplies to rebuild lives that have been so tragically disrupted by the horrendous destruction of the earthquake in Haiti.
