Okay, she made it! Car Wash volunteers with Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club President, Alan Miyamoto (second from left) made sure everyone had a bite to eat.

Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club was Chartered in District 50 in 2009 and serves Pearl Harbor to Aloha Tower. Proceeds from Saturday's car wash fundraiser will benefit ongoing projects and outreach programs by the club.

Also, part of the fundraising funds made from the car wash will provide lunch for 24 international youths on July 13, 2010 from all over the world as part of District 50 Hawaii Lions annual IYC (International Youth Camp) program. This would also include feeding 15-20 adults.

The Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club has also participated in community events as volunteers for the Great Aloha Run, Pearl Harbor Bike Path cleanup and the collection of used eyeglasses as part of the Lions' signature effort to combat blindness.
