Rodrigues, Bustamente-Tolbe, Nebrija make First Team

The Pearl City Chargers Boys Varsity Volleyball Team came home with top honors this week as Chargers Head Coach, Chris Kaneko was voted the 2010 Coach of the Year in the OIA Red Western Division.

Chargers Libero #2 Camren Nebrija ready to serve against Leilehua at the PCHS Gym.

Pearl City finished the regular season with an 11-1 record and a share of the OIA Red Western Division title with the Leilehua Mules. Both teams qualified for the HHSAA State Volleyball Championship Tournament.

The Chargers were eliminated by Punahou in the Quarterfinals to end their season. Punahou went on to win the State Championship.
