Pearl City Shopping Center donates $1000 to Waiau Elementary School

 

The Pearl City Shopping Center (PCSC) Merchants Association recently presented Waiau Elementary School with a $1000 gift certificate donation on Thursday, August 19, 2010. The donation presentation took place in the school cafeteria during an assembly to welcome back the student body and faculty for the 2010-2011 school year.

Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association Treasurer and Finance Factors Operations Manager, Shawn Taniguchi presented Waiau Elementary School Principal, Troy Takazono with10-$100 dollar gift certificates from the PCSC.

This was the second PCSC $1000 dollar gift certificate donation presentation made to a Pearl City District Complex school in August. Earlier in the month, Pearl City Highlands Elementary School Principal, Michael Nakasato received a donation in the same amount for his school.

A special thank you to Waiau Elementary School Counselor, Lynne Cegler for her help in coordinating Thursday's PCSC donation presentation. The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association continues their efforts in supporting our Pearl City schools and community with a donation presentation to Pacific Palisades Elementary School in September.
