The goal and purpose for the Pearl City Shopping Center gift certificate donations is to help our Pearl City schools with much needed financial assistance for their programs as they face increasing DOE budget cuts.

"The donation will be used to fund special classroom projects which require additional non-classroom type materials," said Palisades Elementary School Principal, Suzanne Yamada. " The teachers will be very happy to receive it. Thank you very much to the Pearl City Shopping Center."

Palisades Elementary School is the third school to receive a $1000 gift certificate donation from the Pearl City Shopping Center for the 2010-2011 school year. Pearl City Highlands Elementary and Waiau Elementary both received donations at beginning of the school year. Lehua Elementary School will also be presented with a PCSC donation in the month of October.
