Computers are in at Kanoelani Elementary School

Written by Mislyn Alensonorin:

Now the students at Kanoelani Elementary School have more computers available for their students.  On October 8, 2010, the Kanoelani Elementary School PTA sponsored a golf tournament “Drive to the Top” at Waikele Golf Course which was a success.  The PTA purchased more computers and were delivered in time for the first round of the Hawaii State Assessment on-line testing.

Participants had a great time and this would not have been made possible without the great support of the parents, students, faculty and the community.  Supporters from last year’s tournament returned this year – the IronWorkers Stabilization Fund,  Frito-Lay,  Unitek Solvent Services, HEMIC, American Savings Bank Banana Boat and Tony Autoplex.  Pepsi-Co, Senator Michelle Kidani and Representative Ryan Yamane.

New supporters this year includes James and Shirley Newman, The Pacific Law Group, S&M Sakamoto, Inc., Aloha Shoyu, Barnacle Bills, Anheuser Busch, Sprint, Territorial Savings, Golf Concepts, Island Insurance, Sushi-Ten Restaurant, Yard House and Zippy’s.
