Giving Back at the Holidays: Kahala Associates Real Estate Agents Organize
Annual Pearl City Neighborhood Food Drive to Benefit Hawaii Food Bank
Ms. Christina Laney-Wycheck and Ms. Yumi Laney of Kahala Associates – Oahu’s premiere full-service luxury real estate brokerage firm – will be leading a volunteer Holiday Food Drive in their Pearl City neighborhood on Saturday, November 20th for the Hawaii Food Bank. Volunteers will be going door-to-door asking for food donations in an effort to provide canned goods for Oahu’s low-income families and children, elderly, homeless and unemployed.
This November will mark the third year the Wycheck and Laney families have volunteered to lead their neighborhood’s effort to collect canned goods for those in need before the Holidays. Honolulu’s Hard Rock Café will also provide the food collection bags in support of the neighborhood’s community service campaign.
“We are proud to take this opportunity to give back to our community and to lend a helping hand to families in need. We know that the economy has been tough on many families this year, stretching their finances to the limit,” said Ms. Christina Laney-Wycheck. “With the food drive, we can help alleviate some of that stress and give families plentiful holiday meals.”
