PC Lady Chargers go down 57-44 to league leading Kapolei

The Kapolei Lady Hurricanes (7-0) improved on their perfect record in the OIA Girls Varsity Basketball Red Western Division with a 57-44 road win over the Pearl City Lady Chargers (4-3) on Thursday night. The victory completed a two game sweep of the Lady Chargers this season.

Kawehi Hagi led the Lady Hurricanes over the Chargers with a team high 20 points. Teammate Kaity Wills added 14  in the win.

Pearl City's, Sabrina Angle continued her hot hand from the field with a game high 22 points in the loss.  Angle moves into the top spot for scoring in Division I Girls Varsity Basketball with 17.7 PPG (7 games, 120 points).

Both teams return to action on Saturday, December 18, 2010 with Kapolei (7-0) hosting Waipahu (2-6) and Pearl City playing host to Mililani (4-3). JV contests begin at 10:00am with Varsity to follow.
