Pro Football coming to Pearl City High School

The newly formed Hawaii Professional Football League (HPFL) announced that the four team league will play a total of eight regular season games at Pearl City High School's Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium during the 2011 regular season.

The HPFL fields players that represent former Hawaii high school and collegiate gridiron stars. The league is designed to give players and coaches future NFL opportunities.

Former University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Football player and championship football coach for the Hawaii Armed Forces Football League, Carson Peapealalo is the HPFL Founder and President and also serves as the League Commissioner.

The HPFL Regular Season begins on March 4, 2011 with a doubleheader at Aloha Stadium:         

            @ 5pm – Ko’olau Hurricanes vs Honolulu Volcanoes

            @ 8pm – Kailua Storm vs Waianae Sharks

Hawaii Professional Football League (HPFL) Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit organization operating in the state of Hawaii has a mission and vision to develop Hawaii’s abundance of local talent while also reengineering Hawaii’s approach to professional sports.

HPFL will provide several weeks of thrilling tackle football competition at Aloha Stadium, enhanced with Polynesian flair and spectacle to engage both local and visitor audience’s. The combination of desire, emotion and local pride will deliver intense game competition and enthusiastic fanfare.
