The Rotary Club of Pearlridge continued its commitment to provide free dictionaries through the Dictionary 5000 Project with a presentation at Palisades Elementary School on Thursday, March 24, 2011.
Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge passed out 55 dictionaries to third grade students during the 30 minute presentation.
"Palisades Elementary is one of five (5) schools – Lehua, Momilani, Palisades, Waiau and Webling to receive free dictionaries from the Rotary Club of Pearlridge for 2010-2011," said Roy Matsuo, past President of the Rotary Club of Pearlridge.

The Rotary Club of Pearlridge is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community with programs such as the Rotary Dictionary 5000 Project that assists our Pearl City and Aiea third grade students in expanding their vocabulary and reading skills.
Waiau Elementary School will be the final school to receive free dictionaries for the 2010- 2011 school year on Friday, April 1.
