Aloha to five very special Lady Chargers!

Five very special Lady Chargers played in their last regular season home game on Monday at their Pearl City High School Softball Stadium.

In celebration of the traditional Lady Chargers Senior send off, the girls went out in style with teammates, coaches, family and friends in attendance cheering them on as they took one last trip around the bases.

#11 CF Sierra Mendiola, #10 3B Courtney Ahlo, #1 RF Nicole Sato, #39 C Maya Nagata and #7 SS Keani Passi.

Lady Chargers head coach Keoke Behic and his staff have coached most of the girls at the varsity level for the past three years. Center fielder, Sierra Mendiola transferred in from Mililani High School for her senior year and contributed immediately on both offense and defense. The nucleus of the five seniors represents the philosophy of coach Behic to be winners on and off the field.

This has been a wonderful experience covering the Lady Chargers the past two seasons for MyPearlCity.com. It has been an honor and a privilege to be able to share highlights and game photos for all Pearl City Lady Chargers fans and supporters to enjoy.

The five seniors now become a part of the Pearl City Lady Chargers legacy that represents the heart, soul, passion and love for the game of softball. The bond that they have built with their coaches and teammates will live with them forever.

The Lady Chargers have three regular season games to play. They will meet in a rematch with OIA Red Western Division co-leader Kapolei on Wednesday at Kapolei. First pitch set for 3:30pm.

The Lady Chargers will end the regular season on Saturday, April 16 with a doubleheader against Aiea at the Aiea Annex Field. First game scheduled for 10:00am.
