Pearl City residents were treated to a special Sunday afternoon on June 5, 2011 at the Pearl City Shopping Center that featured some of the best Hot Rods, Classic Cars and cheapest gas prices in Hawaii.
BLEIZN FX Promotions partnered with the 76 gas station located at the Pearl City Shopping Center for the BLEIZN FX Cruz Night that rolled out an impressive display of about a hundred cars and motorcycles along with discounted 76 gas prices, food and beverage specials, and prize giveaways.
"We dropped our gas prices 20 cents from the original price and we also offered a hot dog and 20 ounce drink combo for 76 cents," said Eric Baranda, Marketing Coordinator for Mid Pac Petroleum which owns the 76 brand in Hawaii.
"We've had a lot of people come and sign up for the Kamaaina Rewards Program which is a program which enables people to get points for pumping gas at select 76 gas stations, participating 76 gas stations. They can use the points to buy more gas or buy things at our stores," added Baranda.
"Our BLEIZN FX Car Show is a hit. It's a beautiful day and working with 76 is awesome," said Lei Naumu, Co-Owner of BLEIZN FX Promotions. "I think this is probably one of the biggest turnouts that they've had for people turning out to sign up for the Kamaaina cards. Everybody loves gas."
The Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association was the presenting sponsor for Sunday's event. This was another opportunity for the Pearl City Shopping Center Merchants Association to show their support for those who support the community as well as to say Mahalo to the community for supporting the shopping center merchants through the years.
"The Pearl City Shopping Center donated so much to this event today and their support is awesome," Naumu said.
"We're very happy to be a part of this event and we've had a great opportunity to meet all of the community here and we're just very excited to help out," Baranda said.
