Pearl City defeated Roosevelt 42-30 to remain unbeaten in Pass League Summer Tournament

The Pearl City Chargers football team remained unbeaten after their 42-30 win over the Roosevelt Rough Riders in the Roosevelt High School Summer Pass League Tournament played on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Edmund "Ticky" Vasconcellos Stadium. 

The Chargers followed up their 47-25 win over St. Louis on Tuesday with another impressive win against Roosevelt.

Pearl City's passing game looked sharp behind the arm of Q.B. Brock Teixeira who gave his talented core of receivers a workout with long and short strikes that showcased his accuracy and effectiveness in moving the Chargers offense.

The Chargers also came through on defense, picking off Rough Rider passes that helped contribute to the 42 points scored against Roosevelt.

With their win over Roosevelt on Thursday, the Chargers earned a bye on Tuesday, July 19 and will play next on Thursday, July 21 in the Roosevelt High School Summer Pass League Tournament Play-offs.The Chargers will play the loser of Pac-5 and Roosevelt on Thursday at 4pm.
