Finale dinner ends 2011 summer intersession program at Momilani Community Center

The Pearl City Foundation (PCF) hosted their annual finale dinner for the PCF Summer Intersession Program at the Momilani Community Center on Friday, July 22, 2011.

Students, family and friends were treated to dinner and dessert to celebrate the end of another fun and successful Summer Intersession Program.

The students also performed during a short program to the delight of all in attendance. PCF Summer Intersession Program Leaders and Junior Leaders worked with the students on a few dance routines for the entertainment portion of the finale dinner.

The PCF Summer Intersession Program is offered to students who have completed grades K-6. The students who participate in the program, take part in a summer curriculum that includes, academics, sports/games, arts/crafts, swimming, cooking and weekly field trips. PCF Group Leaders have developed the summer intersession program with the goal of having each student experience a fun, safe and exciting summer.

The PCFSummer Intersession Program runs annually from the last week of May through the last week of July.

Mahalo to Pearl City Foundation Executive Director, Breene Harimoto, Pearl City Foundation Programs Director, Naomi Tully-Ungacta and their support staff of Group Leaders and Junior Leaders who do an outstanding job each year in providing and opportunity and venue for Pearl City students during school breaks.


Also, Mahalo to the volunteers who represent the Pearl City Foundation Board of Directors, Pearl City Community Association (PCCA) and the community for their dedication and support of the PCF and Momilani Community Center.
