“Fill the Boot” fundraiser for MDA held at the Pearl City Shopping Center

On Sunday, September 4th the Hawaii Fire Fighters Association held their annual statewide "Fill the Boot" fundraiser to raise money for Hawaii's children with muscular dystrophy and related illnesses.

Hawaii Fire Fighters and their ohana lined Kamehameha Highway and Waimano Home Road fronting the Pearl City Shopping Center to collect donations that will go towards the financial support for MDA services, equipment and research.

The Hawaii Fire Fighters Association along with their ohana and community volunteers have been involved with the "Fill the Boot" MDA fundraiser campaign since 1994.
