Chargers rise from the fire at Homecoming pep rally

The Pearl City High School student body brought an explosive mix of energy and spirit to Monday's Homecoming Bon Fire and Pep Rally held at Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium on the PCHS school campus.

The Chargers are set to take on the McKinley Tigers for Homecoming in another tough OIA White Division Football match up on Friday (9/9). The Junior Varsity kicks off at 5:00pm with the Varsity to follow 25 minutes after the completion of the JV game.

Monday's Homecoming Bon Fire and Pep Rally featured the annual Powder Puff Flag Football Game with the senior class taking the title 1-0 over the Juniors.

Also, a packed Edwin "Bino" Neves Stadium cheered as the the Pearl City High School Polynesian Club danced and performed to a standing ovation.

Senior pride was well represented and shining bright as the class cheered their way to winning the spirit competition.

It was an awesome night at Pearl City High School this past Monday as the student body, faculty, staff and supporters fired up their Chargers for battle against the McKinley Tigers this Friday at PCHS.
