The Pearl City Pride, Pearl City's newest youth football team, would like to announce registration for players and cheerleaders grades 4-10 on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Manana Community Park at 7:00pm.
"This is a perfect opportunity for any interested parents to find out more about The Pride and what we intend to bring to our community," said Pearl City Pride Head Coach, Art Holmes. "They will also be able to register their child that day."
The Pearl City Pride is a member of the newly established Hawaii State Intermediate Football League. There are 20 teams scheduled to participate in the 2011/2012 inaugural season with 14 teams representing Oahu, 6 on Maui and 2 on Kauai.
There are three divisions: (NO WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS)
Elementary (4th to 6th Grade)
Intermediate (7th to 8th Grade)
High School (9th to 10th Grade)
Pearl City's neighborhood team, The Pearl City Pride is named to represent the lion's pride that are the kings of the jungle and also to represent the pride of Pearl City.The team colors are purple, silver, and white in keeping with Pearl City traditions.
The Hawaii State Intermediate Football League is proud of their mission which is to serve all of Hawaii's youth in an effort to promote improved and healthy lifestyles, and to instill in the youth the principles of Responsibillty, Commitment, Integrity, and Sportsmanship through the game of football.
Practice for Pearl City Pride Football begins on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Manana Kai Neighborhood Park. Registration costs are $250 after a $100 Volunteer credit with $100 due at time of registration. The registration costs covers equipment rental fees and purchase of personal practice equipment.

Copy of School ID with birth date on it or copy of birth certificate
Copy of Insurance Card
Copy of recent Sports Physical (if available)
