The win streak is now at 3-0 for the Pearl City Lady Chargers after a convincing 56-40 victory over the visiting Waianae Lady Seariders (1-2) last night in OIA Red West Division Varsity Girls Basketball action.
Pearl City's Shawna Angle led Lady Chargers in scoring with 14 points followed by Adrienne Jean Sylva (11), Tiari Walker (7), Krystynn Naputi (7), Sabrina Angle (7).
Waianae's Kaitlyn Kaahaaina pumped in 14 points for the Lady Seariders. Gina Atiga (9) and Makea Atiga (7) were also top scorers for the Lady Seariders.
The Lady Chargers are off to a good start for the 2011-12 season compiling early season wins over Radford, 39-34 and Waipahu, 69-64 before last night's 56-40 win over Waianae.
The Lady Chargers will the hit the road to take on Nanakuli this Saturday, December 17th. Tip off is set for 15 minutes after the conclusion of the Junior Varsity contest which is scheduled for 5:00pm
