The Pearl City Community Association (PCCA) held its first Annual  "Spring Fling" Craft Fair at Pearl City Highlands Elementary School (PEACHES) on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Over 42 vendors packed the school's cafeteria from 9:00am with a wide variety of crafts, plants, specialty items and health related information.

Attendees kept a steady flow through the cafeteria as they shopped for last minute Mother's Day gifts. PEACHES staff, students and volunteers sold ono Waffle Dogs, Lumpia, snacks, and cold drinks as a school fundraiser during the event.

Volunteers from the Pearl City Community Association joined with the Mana Loa-Nimitz Lions Club and Pearl VCity Boy Scouts Troop 75 to handle the parking detail on campus. The volunteers did a great job moving the cars safely in and out of the school grounds.

Mahalo to Nathan Young who coordinated the PCCA Spring Fling Craft Fair from the very beginning (months ago) to 2:00pm on Saturday when the craft fair closed. Young is a teacher at PEACHES and is the coordinator for the school's annual Christmas Craft Fair and many fundraiser events throughout the year. (He's the best!)

Also mahalo to PEACHES Principal Michael Nakasato, his staff, students, and the many volunteers who worked hard to make the PCCA's first annual  "Spring Fling" Craft Fair a success!
