Yamashiro wins PCHS 40th Anniversary T-shirt design contest

 

Pearl City High School teacher Chad Yamashiro turned in the winning design for the Pearl City High School 40th Anniversary T-Shirt design contest. The design contest was held in March and April of 2012 with the winner being announced today by the PCHS 40th Anniversary committee organizers.

Designs were solicited from PCHS students, staff & faculty and the public. The top six designs made it to the final round with the winner, Chad Yamashiro emerging on top amongst the other finalists with his the design that truly depicted the spirit of PCHS and all the students who passed through the halls in the past 40 years.

Chad Yamashiro's design also points PCHS towards the future while bringing all alumni together in support of the school and future generations of Chargers yet to come.

The winning design will be featured on the PCHS 40th Anniversary T-shirt that will be sold as a fundraiser to help support PCHS programs throughout the upcoming school year. An announcement will be made soon on where to buy the t-shirts.
