The boy's and girl’s volleyball teams representing the Mustangs of Our Lady of Good Counsel School (OLGC) in Pearl City, traveled to Kaneohe on Tuesday to take on St. Ann's on their home court.

St. Ann's came out on top in both the boy’s and girl’s competition, but the OLGC Mustangs put up a spirited effort while playing hard until the last point was scored.

St. Ann's won the girl’s match 25-8, 25-7, 5-15. St. Ann's boy’s won in two sets, 25-20 and 25-15. In the boy's match, St. Ann's found themselves down midway through the first set to a fired up Mustang team, but battled back to win by five points. St. Ann's controlled the second set for the two set sweep.

OLGC will hold a blessing ceremony on the school grounds this afternoon at 3:00pm for the newly completed basketball/volleyball court. The court blessing will be followed by the OLGC Mustangs taking on visiting Holy Family.
