Learn “The Art of Furoshiki” at the Pearl City Public Library

Learn "The Art of Furoshiki" at Three Oahu Libraries.  "The Art of Furoshiki," a free eco-friendly craft program for adults, will be presented at three Oahu public libraries in November and December 2012.

Learn the art of Furoshiki (Japanese-style reusable gift wrapping) from local eco-crafter Evelyn Nakamura and go green this holiday season. Class size is limited to 20 adults and registration is required.

All craft supplies will be provided for this one-hour program. "The Art of Furoshiki" will be offered at these public libraries:

* November 17 (Saturday), 10:30 a.m. at Kapolei Public Library (1020 Manawai Street; ph. 693-7070); sponsored by the Friends of the Library Kapolei

* November 25 (Sunday), 2 p.m. at Pearl City Public Library (1138 Waimano Home Road; ph. 453-6566); sponsored by the Friends of Pearl City Public Library

* December 8 (Saturday), 2 p.m. at Mililani Public Library (95-450 Makaimoimo Street; ph. 627-7470); sponsored by the Friends of Mililani Public Library
