Campbell over Pearl City 52-12 in OIA Varsity Girls Basketball

The Campbell Lady Sabers defeated the Pearl City Lady Chargers last night 52-12 in OIA Varsity Girls Basketball played at the Pearl City High School gymnasium.

The Lady Chargers played their hearts out, but ran into a strong Lady Sabers squad who built up a commanding 32-5 lead at the half.  The Lady Sabers were led by Marie Togiailua who pumped in a game high 16 points.

Jurey Jao was the high scorer for the Lady Chargers with 7 points.

Megan Ramos (3) and Kacie Chinen (2) also scored for the Lady Chargers.

With the win, Campbell evened their regular season record at 2-2.

Pearl City dropped to 0-4.

The Lady Chargers return to action on Friday, December 22, 2012 at home  against Waialua.
