Kapolei defeated Pearl City 2-1 in OIA Red Western Division Boys Varsity Soccer played at Kapolei High School on Friday, December 21, 2012.
The Hurricanes broke a first half 1-1 tie with a second half goal by Shandon Hopeau.
Kapolei improves to 4-0-1 and in are in a tie with Mililani and Aiea for first place in the OIA Red Western Division.
Pearl City falls to 3-2 in the division and sits in fifth place behind Campbell who has a record of 3-2-1.
Pearl City travels to Waipahu to take on the Marauders on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 7:10pm.
