The Pearl City Lady Chargers picked up their second win in a row against OIA Red Division opponents with last night's 27-20 win over Nanakuli in OIA junior varsity girls basketball played at Pearl City High School.
Tiarre Ortiz scored nine points and Kayelah Arakaki pumped in eight to lead the Lady Chargers.
Nanakuli's Maka Makue scored three 3-pointers to lead the Lady Hawks with nine points.
After an 0-5 start, the Lady Chargers improve to 2-5.
The Lady Chargers travel to Waianae on Thursday, January 10 with tip off set at 5:30pm. Varsity follows at 7:00pm.
