Pearl City advances to semifinals with 3-0 shutout over Castle

Last night was a definite confidence booster for the Pearl City Lady Chargers as they opened play in the quarterfinals of the OIA Red Division Varsity Girls Soccer Championship Tournament with a 3-0 shutout over Castle at Kaiser High School.

Cailla Fabro, Tasha Inong and Lauren Takai each scored a goal for the Lady Chargers.

The Lady Chargers (7-0-4) move on to tonight's championship tournament semifinals with a match up against Kaiser (10-0-1) at 7:00pm at Kaiser High School Field. Kaiser defeated Waianae 4-1 to reach the semifinals.

Mililani (10-0-1) will take on Moanalua (10-1-0) at 5:30pm in the first semifinal match up at Kaiser High School Field. Mililani defeated Kahuku 3-0 to reach the semifinals. Moanalua brought down Kapolei 1-0 to advance to tonight's semifinal match up against Mililani.
