MARCH 2013
The Pickle Lady's Pickle Passion Cookbook Recipes

Sunday, March 24 @ 2 p.m.

Adult Reading Room

Leonara Ching, the Pickle Lady, will give a food demonstration and offer samples of some of her pickling recipes.

Free fun for the entire family!

APRIL 2013
"Musikgarten"with Aki Miyashiro

Thursday, April 4 @ 10:00 – 10:45 a.m.

Adult Reading Room

Musikgarten is an interactive music program for families with young children, ages 18 months to 5-years-old. Ms. Miyashiro is the director of Musikgarten Hawaii.

Shingles, Herpes Zoster, Zoster – What's the Difference?

Speaker: Kit Uyeda, Public Health Educator from the Hawaii Dept. of Health, Immunization Branch

Sunday, April 7 @ 1 p.m.

Adult Reading Room

Ms. Uyeda will give a presentation on shingles. She will discuss the causes and symptoms, the transmission of, the prevention of, medical treatment for, self-care, and the complications of the disease.
